Below you can see the ingredients used in this vegan cream cheese and above you can see the jar in all it's glory, ready to open and enjoy.

Ingredients: Cashew nuts (70%), basil (3%), water, salt and ferments. May contain traces of almonds, nuts, peanuts, celery, lupins, mustard, sesame.

What a beautiful set of ingredients eh!? Definitely one for those on a whole food plant based diet.

Appearance

This vegan cream cheese comes in a glass tub that gives you that nice pop when you open it (it's sealed very well!).

Straight away you'll notice the light green pea and kiwi colour (of which this cream cheese does not contain either).

There is a good amount inside and there are some creamy swirls to the top that make it look very tasty and moreish.

Aroma

Gentle pleasing herbal aroma from this vegan cream cheese, we are excited to delve deeper.

Flavour

This is a savoury and very creamy vegan cheese, it has the most subtle of nutty and herby tastes to it.

We'd almost consider this a herb flavoured creme fraiche. The cream is on the softer side of soft, almost like it's been aired but it's still a very thick vegan cream cheese.

We absolutely loved the flavour when we tried it and it was very different to what we have tried before.

Texture

The creamiest vegan cheese we may have ever tried, we loved this texture. They have really made a classic here that people will definitely fall in love with.

If you imagine soft scoop ice-cream that has been left out for 20 minutes, you've got the similar consistency and texture to the Vaca cream cheese.

Summary

We would love to have this at our vegan cheese evenings, there is nothing else like it, it's herby, subtle and very very creamy.

We could see this working well in a jacket potato or as toppings to other simple meals that you enjoy making.
