Appearance

Packaged in a wide jar with a screw top that once opened you get that satisfying pop of how well sealed it is.

With the lid removed you get to fully see the bright, white ricotta/mascarpone style cream cheese that's inside.

Image

The cheese fills about 90% of the jar which is great to see you get a healthy offering.

Aroma

Smells creamy and slightly salty, a beautiful simple creamy vegan cheese aroma to it.

Flavour

This is a cheese giving you a lovely helping of both savoury with a bit of sweetness too. It's rich yet light, a little acidic but also mellow.

Image

There is a similarity here of ricotta but also mascarpone and creme freche. It's a very pleasing flavour that you could easily make numerous recipes with.

Texture

This is a soft cheese, that when you take a scoop a place it onto a cheese board it will still initially hold it's own, especially just out of the fridge.

Image

You'll get that fluffy light texture, that's also smooth and blends when spread to be so delightfully thick and creamy.

Longevity

This will last up to 2 months and then once opened we recommend you consume within a week so that it tastes its best.

Environmental Credentials

The cheese is created using natural fermentation. Packaged in a re-usuable glass jar is great and can also be recycled.

Summary

This is a versatile, fluffy, smooth cheese that can be used for both savoury and sweet recipes, or just scooped on to a slice of toast makes for a simple delicious treat.

We absolutely loved this cream vegan cheese.
